Hello From the Blueprint Launch Party

Hello From the Blueprint Launch Party

On Friday, December 11th, Community Access hosted a launch party to celebrate its newest program, Blueprint Supported Education!

The event was held at the Dwyer Cultural Center in Harlem and featured a beautiful spread of hearty and healthful southern cooking, a jamming dance floor with DJ Richard Memminger of Howie the Harp, and a presentation about the new program in the adjoining theater. Dozens of staff, tenants, and program participants from across Community Access attended. In addition, many community members came to learn about Blueprint including representatives from CUNY, DOCCS, and providers from an array of social service organizations.

The theater was packed to capacity for the presentation, which started with opening remarks from Community Access CEO Steve Coe, and included an introduction to the whole Blueprint team. Not only did we get to describe Blueprint’s services, but we also had the chance to show the audience this website which was launched just in time for the event. It was a grand unveiling indeed! A robust round of questions and discussion about Supported Education followed, and the rest of the evening was spent enjoying the dance floor.
