Planned Giving
Make a lasting difference by naming Community Access as a beneficiary in your will. You may designate Community Access as the beneficiary of a percentage of your estate, or you can designate a set amount or a particular asset. In the United States, your estate is entitled to an estate tax deduction for the full value of your bequest to Community Access. Consult an estate planning professional or an attorney to help you create an estate plan that is appropriate for you. Gifts of stocks or bonds
Community Access gratefully accepts securities and mutual funds as charitable donations. If your financial services provider holds securities, including mutual funds, in your account, you can have the securities electronically transferred to the Community Access brokerage firm. If you have stock certificates you would like to donate, please send the unendorsed certificate and a signed stock power, available from your financial services provider, in separate envelopes to John Williams, Development Office, Community Access, Inc., 2 Washington Street, 9th Floor, New York, NY 10004. It is Community Access policy to sell all gifts of securities as soon as Community Access is notified of the transfer by its stockbroker. The proceeds are then applied to Community Access programs and related activities.
